Damascus - The Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Agriculture held an expanded meeting at its headquarters with a high-level Turkish delegation led by Dr. Yusuf Hamzaoğlu, Chairman of the Oğlu Group.The meeting was attended from the Syrian side by:Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim Janan, President of the Chamber; Mr. Moataz Al-Sawah, Board Member; Dr. Mahmoud Kouri, Board Member; Mr. Nizar Saad El-Din, Board Member; Dr. Mohammad Marwan Orfali, Economic Advisor to the Chamber; and Dr. Alia Al-Hashem, Livestock Advisor to the Chamber, in addition to members of the Board of Directors, the management team, and public relations staff.The Turkish delegation included:Mr. İbrahim Yurdunuseven, Member of the Turkish Parliament, and his spouse, Mrs. Elif Şentürk Yurdunuseven; Mr. Hayati Kanat, Advisor to the MP; Mr. Hüseyin Olcay and his spouse, Mrs. Kamer Leyla Olcay; Mr. Mehmet Kumar Taşlı; Mr. Tahir Vurgun; Mr. Ali Çetin; Mr. Ömer Çetin; Mr. Yasin Acar; and Mrs. Uluva Yusufoğlu.During the meeting, both sides discussed prospects for cooperation and the exchange of agricultural and trade expertise between the two countries. Initiatives were proposed to provide experts in advanced agricultural fields. Furthermore, deliberations took place between the boards of both sides regarding means to support agricultural work in Syria and serve the mutual interests of Syria and Türkiye in revitalizing and developing economic and agricultural relations, ultimately benefiting producers in both nations.At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. İbrahim Yurdunuseven, Member of the Turkish Parliament, presented a commemorative shield to Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim Janan, President of the Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Agriculture, expressing appreciation and pride in the fraternal relations and bolstering avenues of joint cooperation between the two countries.
