Aleppo Chamber of Agriculture Participates in the First Scientific Week at Aleppo University
The Aleppo Chamber of Agriculture, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Rami Nawlo, participated in the activities of the First Scientific Week organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at Aleppo University in May 2025. This participation included several key aspects aimed at strengthening cooperation between the academic and practical agricultural sectors:
Attending Scientific Seminars: Mr. Rami Nawlo participated in the scientific seminar held in the presence of the President of Aleppo University, Dr. Osama Raadoun, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, Dr. Ahmad Darkalt.
Scientific Harvest Exhibition: The activities included a visit to the "Scientific Harvest" exhibition dedicated to projects by undergraduate and postgraduate students, which showcased student innovations in modern agricultural fields.
Supporting Modern Technologies: The participation emphasized the importance of adopting smart farming techniques and modern irrigation to reduce waste and enhance crop resistance to pests, aligning with the Chamber's vision for developing Aleppo's agricultural sector.
Institutional Cooperation: During the events, ways to exchange expertise between Aleppo University and agricultural institutions, including the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate and the Farmers' Union, were discussed to support agricultural and industrial production chains.
This step comes as part of a framework to strengthen Aleppo's agricultural power by linking the outcomes of scientific research at Aleppo University with the actual needs of the market and farmers represented by the Aleppo Chamber of Agriculture
