A Specialized Symposium on "Nurseries and Food Security" at the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Adawi
Under the title "Nurseries and Sapling Production," the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Adawi, in cooperation with the Damascus Chamber of Agriculture, is organizing a specialized symposium highlighting the livestock sector and food security.
This event comes as part of joint activities to promote agricultural awareness and exchange expertise in the fields of plant and animal production. These efforts aim to support food security strategies and develop emerging agricultural projects.
The symposium's main topics will be supervised and presented by Mr. Hassan Haliwa and Dr. Youssef Kanaan. They will review a series of scientific and practical researches related to modern nursery management methods and the production of healthy saplings. Additionally, they will discuss the current status of livestock and its close link to ensuring sustainable food supply.
The organizing committee has scheduled the symposium to take place next Monday, June 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The event will be held at the headquarters of the Arab Cultural Center located in Al-Adawi district.
