Cultural Symposium in Damascus Discusses Reasons Behind the Decline of Strategic Crops and Ways to Address Them

The Arab Cultural Center in Al-Adawi, in cooperation with the Damascus Chamber of Agriculture, hosted a lecture focusing on national agricultural and economic affairs titled: "National Crops (Wheat - Barley - Cotton - Beet), Reasons for Their Decline, and the Importance of Addressing Them."

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Rashid Dehny, who highlighted the current challenges facing the cultivation of these strategic crops. He also discussed available solutions to revive production, given its critical importance in supporting the local economy and achieving food security.
